Executive Vice President, Grants and External Affairs
In September 2000, Charlie joined the Raskob Foundation, an independent family foundation, established in 1945 whose mission is to support Catholic organizations, both domestic and international for a wide variety of causes and needs. Currently, he serves as the Executive Vice President with oversight of Grants and External Affairs. In this capacity, Charlie is responsible for the Foundation’s giving programs, as well as fostering and maintaining relationships with organizations who approach the foundation for funding and other projects. Previously, he held the positions of Vice President for Grants Management, Director of Special Projects, and began his tenure with the Foundation as Assistant to the EVP for Administration and Education. Prior to his employment with the Raskob Foundation, Charlie’s career centered in a variety of educational settings, including teaching, youth and young adult ministries, and directing religious education programs.
Charlie obtained a B.A. in Liberal Studies with majors in History and Philosophy, has a Master of Divinity degree from Christ the King Seminary, near Buffalo, New York, and completed the program for the University of Delaware’s certification in Nonprofit Management.
A skilled seminar and workshop presenter, Charlie has had the opportunity to speak and present in a variety of settings, both domestically and internationally on topics such as the role of foundations in U.S.
